A woman has died after being found in the sea off the coast of county Antrim.
The alarm was raised with HM Coastguard at around 5.30pm yesterday evening, after the woman went missing for around 90 minutes while swimming at Brown's Bay, Islandmagee.
The Coastguard Rescue helicopter from Prestwick, coastguard teams from Larne, Portmuck and Ballycastle attended the scene alongside the PSNI and NIAS.
After an extensive search the woman was recovered from the water by Larne lifeboat and transferred to Antrim Area Hospital by helicopter.
The PSNI confirmed in a statement the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course.
