A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following the incident on Divis Street in Belfast on Tuesday evening.

At around 5.15pm, police received a report that the woman had been assaulted by a man who had come up behind her and kicked her to the ground.

Police said it was reported that the attacker kicked the woman again while she was on the ground.
