A woman has been taken to hospital after being removed from the railings at the River Foyle.
Foyle Search and Rescue (FSR) were alerted to reports of a person on the wrong-side of the rails shortly 5am this morning.
A spokesperson for FSR said:
"ERT Mobile Unit arrived on scene where the PSNI had removed a female in distress to the right side of the railings.
"The female was then transferred to Hospital with FSR's responding crews stood down."
