The body of a woman has been pulled from the River Foyle near Strabane.
Volunteers from Foyle search and rescue were conducting a search when they made the discovery shortly before 2.30 this afternoon.
The remains have yet to be identified.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "At 2:24pm on the 7/2/2018 Foyle Search & Rescue volunteers conducting a search of the river Foyle located and recovered the body of a female as yet unidentified.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family concerned."
Searches had been ongoing in the river for 69-year-old mother of three Lesley McHugh, who had been reported missing on January 6th.
