Resurfacing works on the A2 road between Newry and Warrenpoint will get underway from next week.
The Department for Infrastructure confirmed £325,000 of improvements on the Warrenpoint-bound carriageway.
It will take place next Friday on a two kilometre stretch, with diversions in place over the weekend until it's completed the following Monday.
As works will be carried out overnight, road closures will be in effect from 7pm to 7am.
