Twenty three young people are being dealt with by police for underage drinking.
It’s after police once again seized a substantial amount of alcohol from teenagers attending the disco in Cookstown.
They stopped and searched buses en route to the event.
They say it is an offence to consume alcohol if you are under 18.
And they’re advising parents, to be aware of where their children are at all times.
Police say many young people became ill and medical attention had to be provided.
Two young people are being dealt with for alleged indecent behaviour, one for apparent obstruction.
Two arrests were made in relation to public order offences.
Meanwhile, police have praised the work of the Cookstown 'Street Angels.'
The volunteers give up their time at weekend to help police.
Young people attending the teenage discos and other bars and clubs avail of the service.
And at the weekend, the Street Angels provided medical attention for young people with injuries and alcohol consumption concerns.
They also ensured the teenagers got home safe.
Police say their good work cannot be highlighted enough, especially with limited police resources.
