Youth charged after drugs worth £150,000 seized in Belfast

A youth has been charged with a number of offences after the seizure of suspected cocaine worth an estimated £150,000 in Belfast.

The offences include possession of a class A drug, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possessing criminal property.
 
Drugs were recovered on Monday during the search of a property in York Street in Belfast. 

The 18-year-old was detained yesterday in the Omagh area and is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday February 28. 

 As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
