The Amazons are on the move. New single ‘Blood on the Bone’ is out now, and the Reading rock five-piece have announced a UK headline tour this September - with a new lineup which redefines their sound.
Joined by Ella McRobb (vocals, keys) and George Le Page (drums), the band step onto these stages as a fuller, more powerful force than ever. Their sound is richer but their energy is undiminished. For anyone who’s seen The Amazons live before, that should be a thrilling and slightly alarming prospect.
Built on three Top 10 UK albums, relentless touring, and a reputation for shows that leave venues ringing for days, The Amazons have long been one of Britain’s most essential live acts.
This September, they’ll be road-testing material from 21st Century Fiction: Epilogue - a deluxe expansion of their acclaimed fourth album, out August 28th - alongside the anthems that turned venues into congregations.
