Belfast International Airport says it will learn from issues which caused long delays at the UK Border this lunchtime.
A number of flights were delayed or arrived early which changed the expected amount of passengers.
At one point up to 900 passengers were left queuing for more than an hour to pass through immigration.
It comes as Belfast International is expecting another busy Summer with some routes having only started up again this week.
