Causeway Coast and Glens Council will still have a link with the Magilligan to Greencastle ferry which resumes tomorrow.
It controversially decided earlier this year to no longer fund the ferry.
But it's now emerged that the Council will still offer the Magilligan slipway for free and pay the Crown Estate fees.
