A viable explosive device has been made safe during a security alert in Co.Tyrone.
Army Bomb teams were called to Fairmount Park in Dungannon this afternoon.
The device has been made safe and has been taken away for further examination.
A number of houses were evacuated during the incident but residents have been allowed to return home.
Inspector Robert McGowan said: “I would like to thank residents and the local business community for their patience during this operation.
“I would also appeal to anyone who knows anything about this incident or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Police at Dungannon on the non-emergency number 101"
