A man has been arrested after reports a pickup truck crashed into a building in Fermanagh on Sunday, causing “extensive damage”, the PSNI have said.
Police said the crash, involving a dark grey Toyota Hilux, happened in the Ballyconnell Road area of Derrylin.
Officers were called to the scene, which they attended with members of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, and found the occupants of the vehicle had “made off”.
A 19-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failing to stop, remain and report, and dangerous driving.
He has since been released on bail to allow for further inquiries. The PSNI have appealed for witnesses.
