A man has been left with a broken jaw after being choked unconscious by a man who attacked him earlier this month in south Belfast.
The incident happened on Great Victoria Street on December 12th at around 8.30pm when the 26-year-old was set upon by another man.
The victim suffered a broken jaw and when his girlfriend attempted to intervene, the attacker released him before making off along Great Victoria Street.
The attacker is described as in his mid 20’s, of slim build with a dark beard and was wearing a baseball cap.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area, or may have witnessed the assault take place, or may have dash cam footage which could assist our investigation to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2053 12/12/21.
