A 30 year old man is expected to appear at Antrim Magistrates Court today after being charged with a number of firearms offences.
The accused has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent, as well as criminal damage.
It follows a number of incidents in the Maple Drive area of Coleraine on Sunday.
A PSNI statement said:
A 30 year old man has been charged with making use of a firearm to resist arrest, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
He is due to appear at Antrim Magistrates Court on Tuesday 5th November. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
