The victim of a fatal road crash in Fivemiletown yesterday evening has been named as 21 year old William Weir from the Maguiresbridge area.
The motorcyclist was travelling on the Belfast Road when the bike collided with a silver VW Polo just after 6pm yesterday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Belfast Road between Fivemiletown and Brookborough has now reopened.
SDLP Councillor Garbhan McPhillips said the collision was a tragedy and his thoughts were with the victim's family and friends.
"I believe that is the second or third fatality on that road in the last number of years," he said.
"My deepest condolences go out to the man's family and friends. They will be in my thoughts and prayers over the coming days and weeks."
Sinn Féin MP Michelle Gildernew expressed her condolences.
"The community has been shocked and saddened by the death of a man in a crash between a motorcycle and a car on the Belfast Road between Fivemiletown and Brookeborough," she said.
"Any death on our roads is one too many.
"My thoughts are with the family, friends and loved ones of the man who has lost his life in this tragic incident."
