'My brain is just all over the goddamn shop': Zoe Ball has been diagnosed with ADHD

Zoe Ball has revealed that she has been diagnosed with ADHD and the condition badly affected her during an episode of Channel 4's 'Taskmaster'.

Zoe Ball has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The BBC Radio 2 presenter has revealed that the condition prevents her from completing what many will consider to be straightforward tasks and reared its head as she took part in a special New Year episode of 'Taskmaster' that airs on January 2.

Zoe - whose 23-year-old son Woody also suffers from ADHD - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "My brain is just all over the goddamn shop.

"I am ADHD. My son (Woody) and I are both, we're quite similar. I make myself laugh sometimes, because if I'm in a small space and I've got loads of tasks to do, I can cover so many miles.

"My family, they laugh because they'll find things of mine in certain places and they're like, 'If you follow this, you'll see what Mum was trying to achieve.'

"I have 18 pairs of glasses and I will still lose all of them... my brain is just all over the goddamn shop."

Zoe revealed how she "physically started to meltdown" in a segment for 'Taskmaster' that required timing skills.

The 53-year-old star said: "So a particular task involved a bit of timing, which is maths, which is not a strength, I physically started to meltdown. That did hurt my head."

Despite her troubles, Zoe explained that she took part in the Channel 4 show as she has a "mum crush" on hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

She said: "A lot of people have mum crushes on both Greg and Alex. I'm not alone. There is something wonderful about being abused by them. People would pay for that."
