Scarlett Moffatt engaged to Scott Dobinson after 'the most perfect proposal' with their son Jude

Scarlett Moffatt is engaged to her "soulmate" Scott Dobinson after he carried out “the most perfect proposal”, with help from their five-month-old son Jude.

The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner is set to tie the knot her “soulmate” and long-time boyfriend Scott Dobinson, 36, after he got down on one knee amid a romantic set-up in their living room, which involved their five-month-old son Jude.

The 33-year-old reality TV star posted on Instagram: “Mondays are my new favourite day. Walked in to find my soulmate on one knee, with baby Jude wearing the cutest outfit, asking the question, “Mammy will you marry Daddy.” The most perfect proposal in my favourite place, our home [white heart emoji] (sic)"

Scarlett gushed about being “on cloud nine” following the romantic gesture from her police officer fiance in their Newcastle home.

She continued: "I truly am on cloud nine, feel so lucky, it feels incredible being able to share this with you all, I always wished for this.”

The ex ‘Gogglebox’ star and her betrothed were congratulated by some of the most famous faces in British TV, such as ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ judge Michelle Visage.

The 55-year-old television personality commented: “CONGRATS MY LOVE!!!! (sic)"

Ex ‘Countdown’ host Carol Vorderman, 62, added: "Huge congratulations and happy days to you both.... (sic)"

Broadcaster Steph McGovern, 41, wrote: “Congratulations.”

Former ‘Geordie Shore’ star Charlotte Crosby, 33 offered her well-wishes, writing: “Absolutely over the moon for both of you.”

Scarlett also took to social media in June to express her disbelief at finally becoming a mother to her “darling boy”.

She wrote on Instagram: "Jude Xavier Dobinson. My darling boy I can't stop crying looking at you as I can't quite believe you're mine. You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks. Me and your daddy love you so much that I can't even put this feeling into words. (sic)"
