A man has died after a house fire in Newtonards.
It happened in Ardmillan Crescent.
He lived in a ground floor flat in the Scrabo housing estate.
This resident says the tight-knit community is in deep shock after the tragedy.
A neighbour has told Q Radio News there could have been further loss of life.
A post mortem is due to be carried out today.
