A 28-year old man has been shot in the knees and right ankle in a paramilitary-style attack in Belfast.
It happened at around 7:45pm last night in the Cavendish Street area in the west of the city.
It's reported three men in dark clothing entered a house and struck him over the head before shooting him with a hand gun.
A woman was assaulted, and four young children who were in the house witnessed the attack.
The victim remains in hospital for treatment to his injuries.
