Ballymena boxer Steven Donnelly says he's planning to go pro in the next few months.

The Olympic fighter will follow in the wake of his Team Ireland mates Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan.

28 year old Steven reached the Welterweight quarter-finals in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

And he's confirmed he's currently in negotiations with two US promoters into becoming a boxing professional.
