Covid-19: Nine more deaths and 1,642 new cases

Nine more people have died as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours. 

Another 1,642 new cases have been detected by the Department of Health here in the same peroid.

In the Republic of Ireland, another 5,622 confirmed cases of the virus have been reported today.
