A former Newry student's up for a UK-wide engineering award.
Lauren Gracey worked on Belfast's Lagan Weir footbridge, the only Northern Ireland project shortlisted for the ICE industry award.
The former Our Lady's student was design co-ordinator for the project.
Principal Fiona McAlinden who taught Ms Gracey says her progress isn't a surprise.
She told Q Radio, "She would have participated in engineering education schemes and got awards for engineering even while at school. She's always had that design interest."
Ms McAlinden added, "Everybody at school is extremely proud of her and her achievments. We're very excited by what she has not. We're very grateful for her to continue to take an interest in school. And I suppose on a personal level as her old A-Level Maths teacher, I'm particularly proud and want to wish her the best in her future career."
