A man has been charged with making threats to kill Northern Ireland’s Health Minister Robin Swann.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said that a man in his 40s has been charged with harassment, making threats to kill and the improper use of electronic communications.
He was arrested earlier on Tuesday, following a report to police from UUP MLA Mr Swann.
The accused will appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning.
