A man has been shot in Derry / Londonderry in the second attack of its kind within days.
It's understood he was attacked in a lane way close to the entrance of Glenowen park at around 9pm on Wednesday evening.
The 48 year old was shot in both legs and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Detectives appealing for witnesses after a 48 year old man was shot in both legs in Glenowen Pk in L'Derry shortly after 9pm tonight.

It follows a similar incident on Monday evening at a Bookies in the Creggan area of the city.
A 23-year-old man was forced to the ground by two masked men and shot in the leg.
His injuries were described as non life threatening.
