Residents of a Brandywell home had a lucky escape after a smoke alarm alerted them to a blaze in their home.
The fire started accidentally in the kitchen of the terraced property on Monday 5th December.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze, which involved a cooker, was out on their arrival.
