Three men remanded into custody after Co Antrim cocaine find

Three men have been remanded into custody after police seized cocaine in County Antrim.

A quarter of a million pounds worth of the drug was discovered in a taxi at Nutts Corner on Thursday.

43-year-old Mark Patrick Nixon, a taxi driver, of Westway, Londonderry; Dale McCormick 22, a labourer of Springvale Park, Derry

and Michael Anthony Anwyl 30 of Irwin Avenue, Limavady, appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

They each faced three charges - conspiracy to supply cocaine; possession of the 

Class A drug with intent to supply and possession of the substance.

All three men were remanded in custody to appear at Antrim Magistrates Court via video link on December 19th.
