Two teenagers have been killed in a collision in which two other people were injured.
The crash involved a car and a tractor on the N83 near Levallyroe in Co Mayo shortly after 8pm on Friday.
The teenage boy and a man, aged in his late teens, who were in the car were fatally injured.
Another teenage boy in the car was transferred to Mayo University Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.
The tractor driver, a man aged in his 50s, was taken to the same hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The road remained closed on Saturday morning for a forensic examination of the scene.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
