Man 'critical' after Saintfield Crash

Police say a man is in a critical condition in hospital following a serious crash in Belfast yesterday.

It happened on the Lisburn Road in Saintfield shortly after 5.35pm.

A woman who was also injured was treated in hospital but has since been released.

The collision involved a black Renault Megane and a black Audi A3

Detectives have appealed for witnesses to come forward so they can establish the cause of the collision.

Anyone with information should contact officers at the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 896 11/01/17.
