Man charged over crowbar attack on elderly man in Portadown church

An elderly woman has been left shaken and bruised after she was attacked with a crowbar in Portadown

The woman, who's in her 70s caught a man trying to force open a church donation box on Friday afternoon.

A 45-year-old man has been charged with attempted theft; robbery; going equipped for theft; and possession of an offensive weapon with intent.
