A man has died after getting into difficulty in the sea off Frinton, Essex Police have said.
It comes a day after a seven-year-old boy became the third person to die as a result of a separate incident to the south, in West Mersea, on Wednesday 22 July, which also claimed the lives of a 41-year-old and her 15-year-old daughter.
Police were contacted shortly before 2.10pm on Thursday by the ambulance service, which reported that a man had got into difficulty in the sea off The Esplanade and had been brought ashore.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
