A career development accelerator programme designed to help new musicians breakthrough in the music industry

Scratch My Progress is the Oh Yeah Music Centre’s annual talent development scheme. Since 2010, 53 acts have benefited from the Scratch My Progress scheme, with Oh Yeah mentors dedicated to developing, supporting, signposting, nurturing and promoting local musical talent to international change makers. 

Applications are now open for the class of 2024/25 and we are expecting a busy and competitive year given the sustained success of our alumnus including; 

-       Problem Patterns who will play Glastonbury 2024

-       Charlie Hanlon who had his first UK performance at The Great Escape 2024

-       Susi Pagel who performed at Electric Picnic 2023

-       HY:LY who has been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Spotify editorial playlists

-       Beat Up Car who scored a sync on the hugely successful ‘Blue Lights’ BBC TV Series

-       Balcony Sunrise whose single released via the programme has had 250k streams on Spotify alone

-       Kitt Philippa who won ‘Album of the Year’ at the Northern Ireland Music Prize 

-        Sasha Samara who won the ‘Contender’ award at the Northern Ireland Music Prize 2020

-       Gemma Bradley who is now the UK National Radio broadcaster for BBC Introducing...
