It happened in the William Street area of the town on New Year's Day

A man has been injured after being assaulted in Lurgan.

It happened in the William Street area of the town at around 1:30 on the morning of New Year's Day.

The assaulted man has a shaved head and was wearing a dark coloured jacket and cream coloured trousers.

He didn't need medical treatment for his injuries.
