Concern Worldwide Launch ‘Camp Out for Concern’ Campaign Across Northern Ireland

Big personality meets global purpose as Q Radio partners with Concern Worldwide to shine a light on displaced families around the world
Q Radio is proud to team up with Concern Worldwide for a powerful new partnership: Camp Out for Concern. Fronted by Q Radio Drive presenter and Concern Worldwide ambassador, Ibe Sesay, this campaign invites people across Northern Ireland to spend one night sleeping outside in solidarity with over 123 million people who have been forced from their homes.
Whether it’s a back garden, a balcony or a tent under the stars, Camp Out for Concern offers everyone the chance to take part, raise awareness, and support families in urgent need. From Sudan to Somalia, Yemen to Gaza, this campaign helps provide vital food, water, and shelter to those living in crisis.
“Conflict continues to displace millions,” said Concern’s Country Director in Yemen, Victor Moses. “The essentials such as food, clean water, sanitation, health and nutrition are desperately needed. With your help, we can reach them.”

Keep an eye out for Q Radio's coverage including a road show and social content led by Ibe Sesay. There will be practical tips, fundraising shout outs, and moments that highlight why this campaign matters.
“I’m proud to be part of this,” said Ibe. “It’s more than a challenge. It’s a statement of empathy. We’re asking our listeners to get involved, get outdoors, and help shine a little light into some of the world’s darkest places.”
Participants can sign up, create a fundraising page, and download helpful resources via Concern’s website. There is even a rewards pack for milestone fundraisers including a torch to symbolise the light they are helping bring to others.
